2-Amino-3-formylquinoline intermediates were synthesised bymicrowave enhanced reaction in a time-efficientmannerwith high yield starting from2- cholor-3-formyl quinoline and ammonium acetate as constituent synthons using tetra butyl ammoniumbromide (TBAB) as a catalyst.
