Determination of time course of microbial specific growth rate using mathematical model and genetic algorithm

The time course of specific growth rate ((t)) is essential in analyzing microbial growth characteristics and the relationships between growth and metabolites production. The conventional method for calculation of (t) is done by hand and has relatively large errors, which deters its applications. In this paper, a newmethod for calculation of(t) is developed using growthmathematicalmodel and genetic algorithmformodel parameter optimization. Thismethod is practical and efficient.
