Limiting Ionic Partial Molar Volumes of R4N+ and I– in Aqueous Methanol at 298.15 K

From density measurements of solutions of R4NI (R = CH3 through n –C4H9), NaBPh4 and NaI in 0, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100 mass % methanol + water at 298.15 K, limiting partial molar volumes of solutes and limiting ionic partial molar volumes of R4N+ and I– have been calculated and interpreted in terms of ion- ion, ion- solvent and solvent- solvent interactions.
