Self-assembly of a coordination polymer {Zn(II)3[(Btc)2 (Bzim)3]}n and its properties

Acoordination polymer {Zn(II)3[(Btc)2 (Bzim)3]}n (Btc = 1, 3, 5-benzene tricarboxylic acid, Bzim= benzimidazole)was successfullyassembled in crystal state by hydrothermal method. Its molecular configurationwaswell defined byX-raydiffraction, element analysis and IRdetermination. Investigation results indicated that this coordination polymerpossessed photoluminescence andthermal stability.
