Synthesis of -dispiro-iminolactones using bromo substituted -dicarbonyl phenanthraquinone

-Dispiro-iminolactones have been synthesized by the three component reaction between 3,6- dibromophenanthraquinone, dialkyl acetylenedicarboxylates and isocyanides via a one-pot mode in high yields. The method offers advantages such as ease of the work-up, high yields of products, mild reaction condition and short reaction times.
